Workshops Scheduled
Workshop in May: The next interactive workshop conducted by Dr Shawn K. Centers will be held May 23 at 6 p.m. at the Osteopathic Center for Children and Families. The topic will be: "Caring for the Entire Family During the Summer".

American Academy of Pediatric Osteopathy (AAPO)
We invite you to join the newly established American Academy of Pediatric Osteopathy (AAPO), which is a component Society of the American Academy of Osteopathy (AAO). The President is Shawn K. Centers, DO, FACOP who also serves as Clinical Director and Staff Pediatrician at the Osteopathic Center for Children and Families in San Diego, California, USA.
Fees are as follows and a Membership Form is available here.
Physicians $75 a year
Residents $60 (one time charge)
Students $50 (one time charge)
We also encourage International Memberships and the fee is $100( US$) a year.
We have posted an International Form in English, Italian and Spanish.

Women's Hall of Fame
Jockey Julie Krone, an avid supporter of OCCF Clinical Director and Staff Pediatrician, Dr Shawn K. Centers is among nine incredible individuals who will be inducted later this year into the prestigious National Women's Hall of Fame. Jorge Aranda Beltrán of Spain was invited to present the results of his research at the recent OMED: Osteopathic Medical Conference & Exposition held recently in San Diego.  Attendees at the Western University of Health Sciences reception during the OMED: Osteopathic Medical Conference & Exposition held in October in San Diego were treated to a visit by two of the founders, Dr. Ethan Allen and Dr. Viola M. Frymann.
